Mr. Golanski
has over fifteen years experience as a business
and appellate litigator (in both the civil and
criminal areas), with an overwhelmingly successful
record characterized both by securing affirmances
and winning reversals on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Golanski’s work has addressed business,
commercial and products liability cases, as well
as a variety
of constitutional law issues, in State and
Federal Courts nationwide, including the United
States Supreme Court. He is currently prosecuting
and defending business contract and government
contract disputes in various state and federal
courts, including the U.S. Court of Federal Claims,
and continues to prosecute civil and commercial
appeals. Mr. Golanski's experience in major mass
tort and products liability cases also makes him
uniquely qualified to defend your business against
serious injury, toxic tort, or products liability
claims.
Mr. Golanski, a Columbia University
School of Law James Kent Scholar, and a Phi Beta
Kappa scholar who holds advanced degrees in law and

Mr. Golanski is a member of the Association

as Madison's Who's Who. Recently, he has been retained
to prosecute a multi-million
dollar
bid protest in the United States Court of Federal
Claims in a government contract dispute involving
a procurement by the Army’s Tank-Automotive & Armaments
Command. He has also been retained as appellate co-counsel
in the nationally famous Liggett Group, Inc. v. Engle
tobacco litigation, seeking reinstatement of the
$220 billion verdict and judgment entered on behalf
of the class of nearly one million Floridians diagnosed
with lung cancers and other diseases.
Mr. Golanski
is also currently litigating a civil rights and Federal
Tort Claims Act appeal in the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Sixth Circuit Court on behalf of a former
U.S. Gold Medal Olympic champion, and has served
as New York counsel in the In re Johns-Manville Corporation
bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of asbestos personal
injury and wrongful death plaintiffs currently bringing
actions against Manville’s former insurers.
Mr. Golanski’s recent litigation successes
include a reversal in the high-profile semiconductor
litigation styled “Ruffing v. Union Carbide
Corporation” involving parental occupational
exposures to extremely toxic chemicals in IBM’s
computer chip-manufacturing facilities—of the
trial court’s ruling precluding the infant
plaintiff’s fraud claims against defendant
IBM.
